The installer and coverage suites run locally without model or factory calls. That makes these checks reusable without another paid generation or judging round. Machine time and electricity are not treated as zero, and test results do not establish total project cost.

Calculation and scope
Capacity released = courses × hours saved per course. Gross effort value = capacity × hourly value. Net modeled benefit = gross value − build investment − courses × added operating cost. ROI = net benefit ÷ build investment. Break-even courses = build investment ÷ positive net benefit per course, rounded up. Zero build investment has no defined ROI percentage.
Use consistent scope: include human time, model/provider charges, infrastructure and maintenance where relevant. Do not count reusable tooling value again as course revenue. Replacing estimates with billed costs and observed cycle times is how this scenario becomes a defensible retrospective.
